I began my investment industry career in 2010 and joined Stifel in 2023. Prior to joining Stifel, I worked at Edward Jones, Merrill Lynch, and interned at Country Financial while in college for two years. I also served in the United States Air Force and am an Iraqi campaign veteran. My time in the Air Force has taught me how to put others above myself and the value of service and working as a team; qualities I still put into practice today.
My philosophy is keeping it simple and looking at the whole picture. If I cannot explain a product or service clearly and simply, it is my belief that it probably will not benefit you. I do my best to explain things to my clients and try to teach at least one new thing, every interaction. I want to help my clients think in terms of years, not weeks or days – they are the ones in control.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois and hold Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. I earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., which identifies those individuals who have met the experience requirements of the CFP® Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework, and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination. I also hold the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation.
I live in East Galesburg with my wife, Kara, and our four children, Jakob, Conner, Kelsie, and Joshua. We keep busy by doing whatever our kids are doing, from coaching and playing baseball to watching our kids play soccer. We have few days without an activity. Kara and I love the beach – we try to enjoy it twice a year, even if it’s only for a few days. We are active in our church, and I serve as a board member of the Galesburg Christian School.
I have been in customer service for nearly three decades and in the financial services industry since 2018, and I am dedicated to providing our clients with top-tier service. Prior to joining Stifel and the financial services industry, I worked in human resources. As a Client Service Associate, I am responsible for handling all administrative needs and supporting JT with trading and operations. I enjoy getting to know our clients and treating them as I would a member of my own family, providing them the service they deserve.
I am a lifelong resident of Galesburg and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Monmouth College. Outside of the office, my husband, Scott, and I enjoy spending our weekends watching our daughter, Alyssa, at her cross country and track meets.
